The Energy Performance Certificate

For Landlords

From 1^st October 2008 all domestic residential landlords must have in their possession an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) on all tenanted property.

This act was passed so prospective tenant's can view the EPC upon request to the Landlord and / or his agent.

Because of the October deadline, there are some 1.5 Million properties to assess by surveyors and produce the EPC, as the date draws nearer there will be a high demand from Landlords to ensure they are compliant and not potentially liable for action or a fine.

We are with the National Surveyors and Valuers accreditation scheme, and hold full professional indemnity insurance, we are Bristol based and are able to act quickly and professionally with the local knowledge and accountability that local landlords prefer.

We are offering a full professional service to Landlords and their agents, to provide the EPC which has a 10 year life unless significant changes are made to the property e.g. new windows, gas boiler, and insulation.

The Portfolio booking price is £25.00 plus VAT per property, which guarantees you will have all your portfolio properties compliant by the deadline date of October 1st 2008 with the balance of the fee, price on aplication, plus VAT payable on completion and production of the EPC.

This price scale is for 1 bedroom property and up to and including 4 bedrooms.

The re-inspection package that we are offering means if we have carried out the initial assessment, all details will be on file and an update inspection can be organised at a fraction of the cost, 50% less in most cases.
